Initiating a Chat
Step-by-Step guide to initiating a chat
- Accessing the Chat Interface - Navigate to the application by logging in with your username and password. 
- Upon successful login, you will be directed to the home screen of the application.  
 
- Selecting an agent - Locate the 'Select Agent' dropdown menu on the left side of the screen. This menu contains the agents currently available to you. 
- Click on the dropdown menu to expand the list of available chat agents. 
- Select the agent that best corresponds to the type of chat you wish to initiate. For example, options may include "General Inquiry," "Human Resources," "Sales," etc. 
- Click on the selected agent to proceed. 
  
- Attaching a File (If Applicable) - Depending on the selected agent, you may have the ability to attach files, such as .pdf or .docx files. 
- If file attachment is supported for the chosen agent, look for a designated "Attach File" button or icon within the chat interface. 
- Click on the "Attach File" button/icon to open the file selection dialog. 
- Browse your device's file system to locate the file you wish to attach. 
- Select the desired file and click "Open" or "Attach" to include it with your chat message. 
  
- Initiating the Chat - Once you have selected the appropriate chat option and attached any necessary files, proceed to initiate the chat by typing your message in the chat window.

Additional Information:
- Prompt Clearly: Be sure to communicate your questions and inquiries clearly and concisely within the chat interface. The average response time is approximately 10-15 seconds though some responses may take longer depending on the complexity of the task.
